The late Leona Helmsley also known as “The Queen of Mean” left $12 million dollars to her dog Trouble which shocked just about everyone. However, a judge has just reduced Trouble’s fortuned to $2 million and has given $6 million to two of Helmsley’s grandchildren.

The family states that Helmsley was not in her right mind when she signed her will. It is crazy to think that $12 million of inheritance was left to a dog. I mean, right mind or not, it seems like she did not care much for her family to begin with. The grandchildren are lucky to be receiving a portion of the money now.

Inheritance is one thing that causes families to battle each other long after a loved one has passed. Everyone one wants their share and feel as though they are entitled to it. I’m sure this was the case with Leona Helmsley’s family. I mean, who could really stand by and watch a fortune like that go to a dog? I think another chunk of the money also went to a charity but not sure which one.
