Will Smith was on Ellen the other day promoting his new film “Hancock.” During the interview, Ellen brought up the topic of Hollywood marriage and how Will and his wife Jada have managed to stay married for 12 years. In Hollywood, 12 years is a long time as the divorce rate is extremely high among celebrity couples.
Will stated that the main reason he has had a successful Hollywood marriage is because he and Jada have taken divorce out of the equation. He said that divorce is not an option. With that being the case for the couple, he stated that since they are going to be together, they will do their best to make each other happy. In a lot of ways, removing divorce as an option can be a very positive thing. If you never consider it, there should be no worry about ever having to deal with it. Read the rest of this entry »

In other parts of the world the term “football” is what is known to the United States as “soccer.” Unlike soccer’s popularity in other countries, the USA just hasn’t picked up on it the same way. While there are die hard US soccer fans, the sport only recently seemed to pick up some steam when the LA Galaxy recruited England’s David Beckham to play for the team. I even admit to having jumped on the soccer bandwagon among all of the hype and media blitz. I even remember the first time Beckham hit the playing field towards the end of his first US game just to please the sold out crowd. He had an injury at the time and couldn’t play, but so many new fans came out in attendance, he had to make an appearance.
The MLS (Major League Soccer) just hasn’t managed to dominate the way other sports have such as baseball, football, basketball, and hockey. The rest of the world has their attention focused on football leagues such as English Premiership or Spanish La Liga, neither of which the US has really embraced. However, the US soccer team is in preparation for qualifying for the 2010 World Cup. Read the rest of this entry »

During those days, surfers disassembled roller skates and took the wheels and attached them into wooden planks. This idea evolved from the use of what they called the crate scooters, which was basically a transportation and a pastime equipment made from a wooden crate that is attached to some kind of handle bars.
